Well, friends, I have made a questionable decision…I will be running the Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 9th on behalf of Camp One Step!

Camp One Step is an organization that operates camps and other educational experiences for children who have been diagnosed with cancer.  Jay has been a part of several Camp One Step programs and we can tell you from personal experience that these camps are life changing for little ones fighting big battles!  My fundraising goal for this race is $2,500.00.  Please consider donating if you can – I’m also in the market for thoughts, prayers, and emergency response recommendations in the Chicago area.

Another goal I have for this marathon is to take you all with me!  With each donation you make please consider providing me with a name of someone that you know who has been affected by cancer.  I will be honored to have each name printed on my marathon jersey.  Compared to battling cancer, these 26.2 miles will be a piece of cake!  Wish me luck!
