Welcome to my fundraising page! I will be running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 9th to empower children diagnosed with cancer and their families. 

My daughter, Olivia, was diagnosed with leukemia in early 2021. She had a rough 2021, where she endured numerous rounds of chemotherapy, lengthy hospital stays, and long periods of mental and physical obstacles. For a kid who is outgoing by nature, this was not easy. But despite these obstacles, Olivia was able to make the best of it and celebrate the good times when she was able. 

During a period of her treatment, Olivia was able to attend in-person Summer Camp at Camp One Step and she had a blast!!! The amount of activities and support that Camp One Step is able to provide for children with cancer is amazing, and will undoubtedly give her memories for years to come. After seeing her excitement following camp, I knew this was an organization I'd like to support now and in the future.

Team One Step supports Camp One Step by Children's Oncology Services, an organization that operates camps and other recreational and educational experiences for children who have been diagnosed with cancer. One Step Programs aim to cure the spirit by providing an environment of hope, strength, and empowerment.
